Call for nominations for the 2012 Lise Meitner Prize for Nuclear Science

European Physical Society Nuclear Physics Board

The Nuclear Physics Board of the EPS invites nominations for the “Lise Meitner Prize” for the year 2012. The award will be given to one or several individuals for outstanding work in the fields of experimental, theoretical or applied nuclear science. The Board welcomes proposals which represent the breadth and strength of European nuclear science.

Nominations need to be accompanied by a completed nomination form, a brief curriculum vitae of the nominee(s) and a list of major publications. Letters of support, from authorities in the field, that outline the importance of the work of the nominee(s) will also be helpful.

Nominations will be treated in strict confidence. While all nominations will be acknowledged, there will be no further communication from the selection committee, till the announcement of the prizewinner. Nominations should be sent via email to:
